Biomass plant to be built in Scottsburg, Ind.
SCOTTSBURG, Ind.. (WHAS11) — Plans for building a biomass plant in Scottsburg, Ind. are moving forward.  The 0 million wood burning power plant is being considered for U.S. 31 South of Scottsburg.   The Indiana Department of Environmental Management has granted water quality certification and an air quality permit for the project. A similar plant is also being proposed in Milltown, Ind.
