@eminentjonfrost because the energy of the sun is of such abundance that it wouldn’t be profitable, therefore we are not using it. That is also the reason why there is suffering and poverty in the world; it’s just not profitable to help people and make sure everyone has free, clean air and drinking water. Anything else you were wondering?

if you really want to make something work here it is take a parabolic solar concentrator and send light into a mirrored cone shape focal point then send that light into mirrored glass tubing which will send the light into a mirrored box with solar panels in it the solar panels must be cooled by spinning or cooling system.now get to work

how does the electron get energy? What i understand is that the photons release the electrons but you didn’t say where the electrons get there energy!!!

Good intro to Solar Panels. I’ve been doing some research into Solar Panels in the UK, if anyone’s interested it’s worth looking into Feed In Tariffs, which is a government scheme so you earn money for the electricity your Solar Panels generate. There’s a company called Solar Loft Conversions Limited who fit solar panels on your roof for you at cost price if you get a loft conversion from them at the same time – which means you’ll make your money back on them in half the time.
